This project has been initiated to help the Director
of Human Resources to build andmaintain a current list of all the members in
the accounting club and their progress towards active status.
The
current system is a simple excel sheet that is downloadable from the club
website. It is very tedious to update,
and even more difficult for the users of the excel sheet to interpret.
The
new system will be designed so it will be easier for the Director of Human
resources to update, and be more resistant to small formatting errors that are
common among excel applications. From a
user standpoint, the system will provide a personalized view. This means that when using the application, a
user will select their name, and all that will be displayed is their active
status information, including the events they attended and what else is needed
to achieve active status. The display
will not be cluttered with irrelevant information, such as other member’s
information. |
